(PLO)- The Government decided to reduce the land and water surface rents by 30% in 2022 for a number of organizations, units, businesses, households and individuals.
On January 30, the Government issued Resolution No. 7 on reducing land and water surface rents in 2022 for those affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
Accordingly, the Government decided to reduce 30% of land rent and water surface rent by 2022 for organizations, units, enterprises, households and individuals that are being directly leased land by the State under Decision or Contracts or certificates of land use rights, ownership of houses and other land-attached assets of a competent state agency in the form of land rental with annual payment due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.
This Resolution takes effect from January 30. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for submitting to the Prime Minister for promulgation a Decision on regulations on reduction of land rent and water surface rent according to the above contents.
Also according to the Resolution, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Governmental agencies, Chairman of People’s Committees of provinces and centrally run cities, Chairman of Members’ Council, General Director of Corporations, General State companies are responsible for the implementation of this Resolution; In the course of implementation, in case problems arise, promptly and fully report and propose to competent authorities as prescribed.
