At the meeting with Mr. Akio Yoshida, Executive Chairman of AEON Group, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated AEON’s positive and effective contributions to the development of retail and export sectors in Vietnam.
According to the Prime Minister, Vietnam has five important foundational factors that AEON and other investors can expand investment and business in Vietnam. Specifically, Vietnam identifies consumption as a growth engine; with a market of more than 100 million people, a young population and a growing number of middle-class people and above, striving to become a high-middle-income country by 2030.
