Suspecting that the above goods are fake, the Police of Bac Tu Liem District coordinated with the Market Management Team No. 24 of Hoai Duc District, the Hanoi Market Management Department to check the 4th floor of the Time coffe building.
As a result, hundreds of LADY branded health food boxes were seized; Vinslim V3; Collagen Firming Sleeping Mark. At the time of inspection, Le Van Huu and Truong Thi Thao were the owners of the above goods but could not produce invoices and documents proving the origin.
At the police station, Le Van Huu confessed that around the beginning of 2022, this person rented the 4th floor of a building to use as an office under the company name VDGgrup, to trade in household appliances and functional foods. The company was invented by Huu himself, not registered for a business license.
Then Le Van Huu hired Truong Thi Thao as a manager and other employees as marketing staff and delivery staff.
Le Van Huu has ordered functional food products of unknown origin online for sale, Truong Thi Thao is the consignee to check the goods, sell them and report back to Huu. Even though they know it’s fake, they don’t have receipts and receipts, but these people continue to sell for a profit.
In order to evade the detection of the authorities, Huu rented a house with a fingerprint-controlled elevator to prevent strangers from entering, but only Huu and Thao’s people controlled; selling mainly via Livestream and Zalo, social networks. After a successful sale, delete all data.
The Investigation Police Agency initiated a criminal case, prosecuted two defendants and a detention order for Huu and Thao for the crime of trafficking in counterfeit goods and continued to investigate and expand the case, clarifying the people involved. and handled in accordance with the law.
