Ms. Oanh suggested that in the coming time, Ho Chi Minh City’s civil judgment enforcement department will continue to improve the results of the execution of bank credit cases; recovery of money and property in corruption and economic cases; cases, the Central Steering Committee monitors and directs. According to Ms. Oanh, the effectiveness of civil law enforcement depends heavily on the coordination of relevant agencies and organizations. The Ministry of Justice proposed that the City Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee continue to pay attention to, facilitate and coordinate with the Ministry of Justice and the General Department of Civil Justice in leading and managing civil law enforcement work in Ho Chi Minh City. Directing the city’s departments and agencies at all levels to continue to coordinate and remove difficulties and obstacles for the city’s civil judgment enforcement agencies to complete their assigned tasks.
Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Vo Van Hoan said that Ho Chi Minh City is a big city and a dynamic economic development locomotive. At the ceremony, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Civil Justice Department Nguyen Van Hoa also said that, after 30 years and until the end of 9 months of work in 2023, the city’s civil judgment enforcement agencies have handled over 95,600 jobs with an amount of over VND 135,000 billion and have completed nearly 52,000 jobs with an amount of over 34,000 billion VND.
In recent years, the city’s civil judgment enforcement agencies have received the highest number of cases in the civil law enforcement system. Prominent is the task of recovering property appropriated and lost in criminal cases of corruption and economy.
