
(PLO)- Dong Nai Provincial Police has mobilized and arranged 732 regular police officers to work in the police of 130 communes and towns in the province.
On the afternoon of July 10, the Party Committee and Directorate of Dong Nai Provincial Police held a dialogue conference with more than 300 police officers of communes and towns in the province.
Chairing the meeting Major General Nguyen Sy Quang, Director of Provincial Public Security and members of the Board of Directors. Attending the conference were hundreds of police chiefs of communes and towns, communal police forces and police officers.

According to the provincial police, up to June 15, 2023, the provincial police have mobilized and arranged 732 regular police officers to work in the police of 130 communes and townships of the province (in which 65.4%) have a university degree or higher, 34.2% have a college or high school degree).
Although the force is still quite small and the area is wide, with high determination, the commune and town police have successfully completed the task.
In just the past 3 years, the regular commune and township police forces handled more than 3,550 criminal cases, received more than 5,420 crime reports and denunciations and handled 4,470 cases related to information security and safety. transferred to the Investigation Police Agency at all levels to prosecute 3,442 cases, advise and handle administratively 2,857 cases…
In the implementation of two National Database projects on population, issuance and management of CCCD cards and Project 06 of the Government, the police of communes and townships in the area with a high sense of responsibility have completed successfully completed the tasks of the two projects.
At the dialogue, the Provincial Police Board of Directors received many feedbacks from the police chiefs of the communes and towns about the inadequacies, difficulties and obstacles in the process of performing their duties, focusing around regimes, policies, allowances, equipment and tools to serve the performance of tasks of the police force in the grassroots area.

In addition, the conference also received many opinions and reflections on the legal provisions related to the responsibilities of the communal police force in receiving and handling cases at the grassroots such as: environment, handling crime reports…
At the conference, leaders of the Provincial Police also answered the recommendations and problems; at the same time, propose a number of solutions to continue to support the police force of communes and towns to ensure the interests of grassroots forces to work with peace of mind.
On this occasion, a number of police officers of communes and townships with achievements in performing their duties were rewarded by the provincial police.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Tan Duc praised the contributions of the commune and town police forces in maintaining security and order in recent years. At the same time, it is proposed that the Provincial Public Security Board of Directors urgently review the difficulties of the commune police force to promptly solve them and need to continue to pay attention to investing in facilities….
