
(PLO)- According to the Vietnam E-commerce Association, despite having good products, many businesses still do not know how to apply information technology as well as trade promotion activities to promote products to many customers.
Recently, the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) organized “The Fair to connect trade and promote trade in e-commerce applications (ECOMMERCE EXPO 2022)” in Da Nang City.
The fair will take place from December 16, 2022 to January 16, 2023, organized under the model of an online exhibition combined with a traditional fair model (offline).
The fair has the participation of 80 offline booths, 100 online stalls and hundreds of products including OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, typical commercial products of nearly 100 production – business enterprises and production cooperatives across the country…

Within the framework of the Fair, the Organizing Committee also organized an in-depth discussion forum on digital transformation activities for businesses.
VECOM said that since 2016, Vietnam’s e-commerce has begun to record rapid growth and predicts this trend will explode until 2025. In fact, in 2021, although the economy is heavily impacted, the growth rate of e-commerce still reaches 16%, retail revenue reaches 13.7 billion USD.
With the strong development of e-commerce, trade promotion activities in the online environment and increasing online shopping habits, this field will surely have a remarkable and sustainable development.
However, according to a representative of VECOM, many businesses still do not know how to apply information technology in general and e-commerce in particular and are not ready to deploy wide trade promotion activities on many different platforms, even though their products are of good quality. This is also the weakness of the majority of Vietnamese enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises.
Therefore, through the fair, VECOM wishes to build an online platform to promote information about products and services of e-commerce businesses and manufacturing enterprises in the country.
At the same time, organize a forum to discuss trade promotion solutions and digital transformation applications in enterprises. Thereby creating opportunities for bilateral or multilateral exchanges and cooperation between enterprises providing e-commerce promotion solutions and manufacturing enterprises.
