On July 24, according to the European – American Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), Walmart Group Executive Vice President in charge of textile and FMCG supply, Mr. Avineesh Gupta, will lead the event.Conclude connecting international suppliers – Vietnam International Sourcing 2023″.
The event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade takes place from September 13 to 15 in Ho Chi Minh City. To prepare for this series of events, during the working process, Walmart said that it wanted to find partners in six categories including: clothing and accessories; Footwear; textiles and accessories; Electronic Appliances; furniture; food and consumer goods.

Walmart also shares the most important factors when evaluating suppliers in Vietnam, which are capacity, supply ability, financial stability, sustainable development and compliance with environmental commitments.
At the same time, Walmart has advice for Vietnamese businesses to participate in Walmart’s billion-dollar value chain in the international market.
Accordingly, domestic enterprises need to pay special attention to three core issues: building strategies with long-term goals; solutions for supply chain and logistics; product design and development capabilities.
