“If a society thinks about its own future, it must think about the living conditions of young people…. The conditions that help them live, the conditions that help them develop.” (Karol Joseph Wojtyla)
John Amos Komensky said that “youth is the spring of life”. To help young people live the beautiful spring of their lives, parents, teachers, and educators need to learn with young people to know the problems of youth, to “live young”. Youth is a great gift of the Creator, living young is both beautiful and difficult. But maybe it’s beautiful because it’s difficult.

The phenomenon of suicide or “destroying” life in transient, even toxic pleasures, shows that many young people (notably students – students) are losing themselves, not finding themselves. meaning and motivation in life. The common point from these is the suicide note of students – students confirm it. Why so?
One of the attractions (becoming an intrinsic motivator) for youth is discovering the inner world, discovering the deep and rich self of oneself. From the results of this discovery, the choice for a lifetime is decided. In this discovery process, there are many difficulties and challenges.
Today’s young people face many challenges, having to live in a tug-of-war between opposing forces from the desire to live and from the world around them.
Every day in every young person, there is always a conflict between the attraction from the great beauty (but hard to see) of knowledge, labor, love, truth, justice, and the attraction of “success” achieve/stylish” expressed in money, success, power, entertainment (which is promoted daily by the media). It is here that the question “Who can really help you?” emerges as a compulsion.
What do you go to school for? To learn, discover scientific knowledge or to discover and develop yourself? It must be both, one as the end and the other as the condition. Need to learn, need to go to school, but learning must help learners see this life more beautiful, more worth living, seeing that they can not only enjoy but also create beauty.
How will the school help you? Is too much emphasis on physical conditions such as computers, air-conditioners, etc. or other amenities a surefire guarantee for the quality of education? Asking them to memorize a lot of dry formulas and theories (which they will probably forget) helps them discover the value and beauty of knowledge in order to find a way to gain it?
How will parents help them? Nowadays, it seems that many parents focus on providing material conditions for their children rather than making them happy when the family gathers around the dinner table to enjoy not only food but also mother’s love, father’s labor or the love of yielding between brothers and sisters.
Nowadays, many times the smartphone (smartphone) has made family members no longer present together even though they are sitting at the same table, forcing them to seek sharing where strangers are absent.
Parents daily provide children with material conditions and facilities, teachers daily teach children knowledge (which he considers important and necessary), but do we really understand about What do you need or how do you make them happy with what they get?
The reactions of students – students through the act of running away from home, being addicted to social networks… even committing suicide in the past time have given an answer about the value of what we are doing for them. Are we providing children with what adults like and want, not what is needed and good for them?
Good conditions alone are not enough, it also needs to be right, suitable for helping people develop, so that people can fully engage in what they can and must do.
What they “can do” depends on the conditions provided, and what they “must do” only happens when there is a burning desire in them to grow, to develop, to have a direction. look forward. That foresight is created by external conditions and by oneself, thereby overcoming external conditions with a “power through the wall”.
The biggest problem for young students – students today is that they have a surplus of instructors with countless requirements, but a lack of responsible instructors, a lack of qualified people. can be “father, teacher, friend”.
Having to live under the pressure of such deprivation on their own, they know what to rely on other than virtual (maybe even malicious) friends on social media. Did the children not run away, but the mistake of the adults pushed them away?
