On June 24, Long An International Port officially merged 7 wharfs and opened container handling services. This is an important milestone, confirming the strategic vision towards the goal of becoming an internationally recognized seaport in Asia.

One destination for all needs
Long An International Port Project Cluster with a planning of 1,935 hectares in Can Giuoc district, Long An province. In which the industrial park area is 396 hectares; 239-hectare service-industrial zone; urban area 1,145 hectares and especially the seaport 147 hectares.
All are a harmonious combination of a seaport service complex with ancillary works and utilities that are constantly invested and expanded, bringing outstanding value to the whole area, contributing to the formation of a complex dynamic and modern seaport city in the future.

After 8 years of construction, up to now, officially joining 7 wharves – Long An International Port, opened container cargo handling service.
The total length from wharf 1 to wharf 7 is 1,670m. In the next stage of development, Long An International Port will carry out procedures to expand the scale of 10 berths, including 1 wharf specializing in exploiting liquid/liquefied petroleum gas, 3 mooring buoys, and 1 berth. center to welcome large cruise ships, welcome domestic and international tourists.
When completed, the port has the longest continuous shore length in Vietnam at 2,368m, capable of receiving ships of up to 100,000 DWT.

At the event, Dongtam Group was honored to receive the certificate of Vietnam Record, Indochina Record for Flagpole – Long An International Port.
The flagpole of Long An International Port is the tallest flagpole in Indochina with a pillar height of 63 meters (from foot to top) representing 63 provinces/cities of Vietnam; flag 54 m2 representing 54 ethnic groups.
