Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park is located in 2 districts of Bo Trach and Minh Hoa (Quang Binh), about 50 km northwest of Dong Hoi city, 42 km east of the East Sea.

Phong Nha – Ke Bang is located in a limestone area of about 201,000 hectares. The core area of the national park is 85,754 ha and a buffer zone of 195,400 ha.
