According to Global Industry Analysts, the global Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) market has reached $27.1 billion in 2020, despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Asia-Pacific continues to lead in terms of prefabricated house construction market share (43% market share in 2019) and has the fastest growth rate globally.
According to Global Industry Analysts, revenue from the pre-engineered steel building (NTTC) market is expected to reach $49.1 billion by 2026 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.1%. DataMintelligence even forecasts, this market will grow even stronger with a CAGR of up to 14% in the period 2021-2028.

A representative of Pebsteel said that, compared to reinforced concrete, NTTC stands out thanks to its flexibility, fast construction, cost savings, and long life. Today, NTTC has more presence in the civil construction segment (residential, public works) which used to be the strength of concrete. “The application of NTTC is very large, not limited to industrial works. Specifically, this type of construction is increasingly popular in civil and commercial – service projects. It can be said that the pre-engineered steel industry in general and especially pre-engineered steel frame buildings promises to grow strongly in the coming years”, commented a representative of Pebsteel.

According to a representative of Pebsteel, after Covid-19, the construction and industrial sectors will recover and boom significantly, contributing to increasing the development potential for the NTTC field. However, “change for the better” is a challenge for the industry in general and the NTTC in particular. Despite being a longstanding and leading company in providing high quality NTTC and structural steel, Pebsteel is no exception to the above challenge. In order to anticipate the prospect of breakthrough growth in the future, Pebsteel provides a sustainable development orientation in the period of 2022-2030 through the most effective, innovative and safe construction solutions.

According to a representative of Pebsteel, the company will continue to invest heavily in QRD (Quality Research and Development) as well as promote digital transformation, empower employees, and continue to develop a global network of partners. In addition, recently Pebsteel has changed the entire brand identity with a solid vision for the upcoming period through the statement “Engineered Building Solutions”.

Thereby Pebsteel demonstrates a strong commitment to providing the best engineering structural space building solutions to every customer. “The new Pebsteel logo is inspired by the pre-engineered steel building structure with the emphasis on the symbol of parallel development. Thereby, Pebsteel aims for the success of the company to go hand in hand with the success of all customers, partners and employees”, a Pebsteel representative shared.

Pebsteel was established in 1994 and belongs to the group of pioneering enterprises bringing NTTC construction technology to Vietnam. Pebsteel has completed more than 6,000 projects in more than 50 countries, having made a breakthrough with a 14-storey pre-engineered steel frame office building in Manila (Philippines) in 2017; the highest palm oil refinery in Indonesia (68 m) in 2013; hangar with a 128 m wide mid-column truss frame in the Philippines; 1 km long warehouse in Thailand, unique curved roof for Okada Manila resort project, or 220,000 m2 VinFast Hai Phong car factory2 completed in 5 months.

“Pebsteel has set out a long-term business strategy, not only post-Covid-19 but also until 2030. In early 2022, Pebsteel completed the re-branding, asserting itself as a leader in NTTC with a series of advanced, sustainable and safe solutions. Website, logo, manifesto … all simultaneously “changed new clothes”, fully conveying the spirit of the brand and the vision of prosperous companionship with customers, partners and employees. We continuously improve products, improve technical design, improve structure, create new materials, reduce construction waste… These are Pebsteel’s efforts towards the goal of sustainable development”, a Pebsteel representative added.
In addition, Pebsteel also focuses on community activities such as sponsoring the reconstruction of clean water sources, renovating preschools… Pebsteel also pays special attention to education and training activities. Recently, on April 8, Pebsteel and Ho Chi Minh City Open University signed a cooperation agreement to support students to study well, close to practical requirements, and open up career opportunities for students after graduation.
