On November 3, Bac Giang Provincial Police said that recently, on Facebook, a group called “Uncle Ho’s Grandson Camp” was established by a number of reactionary and dissident objects in the country.
This group took advantage of the slogans “Uncle Ho is the best, the Party is the best”, “Union Union of Uncle Ho’s lovers” to deceive, seduce and entice students, students, youth, and young intellectuals. participating, thereby forming an opposing force against the Party and State.

The police determined that in order to carry out conspiracies and anti-sabotage, the group of subjects took advantage of Uncle Ho’s image to entice members to participate; regularly use activities such as posting, sharing, and distributing images, clips, information, documents, articles with distorting content, seeking to defame the image of President Ho Chi Minh; commenting on distorting and offensive content; distorting history, especially the events of “Northern Border War”, “Gac Ma Naval War”, “Paracel Sea Battle”…
Through it, the subjects attacked the leaders of the Party and State in different periods; promoting anti-sabotage activities among pupils, students and young intellectuals by violating the law; link, post, share articles, clips, livestreams of outside reactionary groups and organizations in order to lash out at the Party’s lines, guidelines and policies, and the State’s laws.
Still according to the police, a part of social network users are not fully aware of the nature of the group, along with the tricks to entice participants of quite sophisticated administrators such as combined postings. . trick, manipulate, seduce over 18,000 members to join the group.
Faced with the above problem, Bac Giang Provincial Police suggested that officials and people in the area should raise their vigilance, not to let bad elements deceive and entice to join the group; at the same time, must master and comply with the provisions of the Cybersecurity Law, use the internet and social networks soberly and civilly.
The police also recommend that each person needs to receive true, verified information from official websites; promptly detect and refute false information and do not support, distribute, share and spread false information, slander the Party and State on social networks.
