(PLO)- Businesses that lease land for a long time but let the project “hang” are all withdrawn.
On July 25, the People’s Committee of Binh Phuoc province announced the decisions to recover land from businesses that lease land for a long time but do not use it. According to these decisions, the three companies that leased land in Loc Ninh district have been acquired.
Specifically, the branch of Binh Phuoc Province Materials and Technology Company had more than 26 hectares of land recovered. This land area has been leased by the company since 2002 but has not been put into use until now.

Mien Dong Xanh Joint Stock Company has recovered more than 4.1 hectares. This land area has been leased by the company since 2007 but has not been put into use.
Xuan My Education Investment Co., Ltd. has recovered more than 4.6 hectares. This land area has also been leased by the People’s Committee of Binh Phuoc province since 2014 but so far the company has not implemented the project.
The People’s Committee of Binh Phuoc province said that these three companies have all violated Point I, Clause 1, Article 64 of the 2013 Land Law. The recovered land will be returned to the Loc Ninh District Land Fund Development Center for management.
It is known that these three projects are among 13 projects that have been proposed to be withdrawn because they have not been put into use for a long time.
41 projects “suspended” for a long time
Previously, the People’s Committee of Binh Phuoc province announced 41 investment projects that did not put land into use within 12 consecutive months or were 24 months behind the land use schedule compared to the schedule recorded in the investment project. Of these, 13 projects are proposed to be withdrawn.
At the recent meeting of the People’s Council of Binh Phuoc province, the Department of Construction of this province said that the whole province has 77/140 residential projects that have not completed investment procedures or implemented slowly and with a long time.
