The new generation of C-Class (code W206) has just been introduced to the Vietnamese market at the end of April 2022 with the special version C 300 AMG First Edition. The recent lively and novel launch event is a clear demonstration of the “personality” that the C-Class is aiming for.
Compared to a miniature S-Class, the latest C-Class has a completely different appearance compared to its predecessor. While still retaining the luxury and fashion – which is the dominant DNA that defines the values and brand of Mercedes-Benz, this generation is distinguished by its personality, strength and fashion.
This is clearly reflected in the car’s exterior with its youthful and radical design, especially the new headlights at the front. Equipped with Digital Light – the most advanced light technology available today, the car features intelligent, efficient lighting that is both aesthetically perfect and optimized for safe operation.
The front end of the First Edition is more personal thanks to the mesh radiator system with stylized motifs from the brand image and the three-pointed star logo. The windshield and passenger compartment are tilted back according to the “car-backward” design philosophy.
The welcome light mounted in the rearview mirror creates an impressive highlight with the Mercedes-Benz logo on the side of the car; while the two-part Full-LED taillights are slender, the leaf-shaped LED clusters help to further refine the rear area.
A bright spot on the limited C-Class version is the combination of sporty and youthful, trendy style. The most typical is the detail of the sporty bonnet with strong decorative veins that pop up the sense of forward movement of the car. A set of 19-inch aggressive and sturdy 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels with a sporty AMG dual exhaust system, high-grade chrome trim.
Inside the cabin, the C 300 AMG First Edition “pampers” customers with the harmony between aesthetics, sophistication and modern, bold technology. The appearance of Ambient Light interior lighting system makes the owner’s private space become more classy, separate from the outside world.
Most details are used high-quality materials such as soft leather, artico leather, nappa leather and chrome plating. Modern digital dashboard with 12.3-inch color screen and resolution up to 2,400 x 900 (pixels). The dashboard design is now completely separated from the central entertainment screen. The center of the dashboard of the special C-Class version is an 11.9-inch screen integrated with touch controls located along the modern trend, operated by the 2nd generation MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), which connects Carplay and Android Auto wirelessly. Details are subtly arranged on the interior trim with metallic fiber design. All create unique experiences in the interior space for customers.
The “personality” of this version is also evident in the performance with the appearance of a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, combined with the EQ BOOST feature, the new 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission, producing a strong capacity of up to 258 horsepower and maximum torque of 400 Nm. Thanks to that, this special version is capable of impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just 6 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 250 km / h.
Vehicles are also equipped with collision prevention braking and parking assistance system with intelligent 360° camera. The 360° camera can simulate the 3D environment around the vehicle with modern graphics, integrating the ability to automatically change the intelligent viewing angle to help the driver observe the surrounding space in a realistic way.
Unlike the locally assembled versions, the C-Class C 300 AMG First Edition is imported with a quantity of only 132 units. This limited edition also comes in two special color codes, Selenite Gray and Spectral Blue, in addition to the standard colors: Polar White, Cavansite Blue, Obsidian Black, Graphite Gray and Hyacinth Red (Optional Charge).
For car owners who want to show their own qualities, this is the ideal choice in the price range of 2,399 billion VND. The C 300 AMG First Edition version is available at dealers nationwide and ready to be delivered to customers from April 28, 2022.
The German automaker also started accepting deposits for locally assembled versions such as C 200 Avantgarde priced at VND 1,669 billion, C 200 Avantgarde Plus priced at VND 1,789 billion and C 300 AMG priced at VND 2,089 billion from April 28, 2022.
