Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company has just announced that the railway industry will start selling train tickets on the occasion of National Day September 2.
Open sale of train tickets to enhance National Day holiday
Specifically, the Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City route includes pairs of trains: SE1/2, SE3/SE4, SE5/6, SE7/SE8 trains.
The route Da Nang – Hanoi / HCMC includes: Trains SE19/20, SE21/SE22
Hanoi – Quang Binh route includes: QB1/2 . train
Hanoi – Lao Cai route includes: SP3/4
Hanoi – Hai Phong route includes: HP1/2, LP2/3, LP5/6, LP7/8
The route Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang includes: Train SNT1/SNT2.
The route Ho Chi Minh City – Phan Thiet includes: Train SPT1/SPT2.
The ticket price of Thong Nhat train ranges from 1,046,000 VND/ticket/way to 1,425,000 VND/ticket/way depending on the type of seat, bed, and train brand.
Similarly, train ticket prices for SE21/SE22 range from 748,000 VND/ticket/way to 1,295,000 VND/ticket/way. Ticket price for SNT1/SNT2 train ranges from 622,000 VND/ticket/way to 1,090,000 VND/ticket/way. Ticket price for SPT1/SPT2 train ranges from 261,000 VND/ticket/way to 349,000 VND/ticket/way.
On this occasion, the railway still applies discounts to social policy beneficiaries such as Vietnamese heroic mothers, wounded soldiers, disabled people, the elderly, students, union members, passengers with customer cards…
In particular, children under 6 years old are exempted from tickets when accompanied by adults, from 6 to 10 years old are entitled to a 25% discount on ticket prices.

Passengers buying round-trip tickets are entitled to a 5% discount on the return ticket price for passengers buying an individual ticket and a 7% discount on the return ticket price for a group of 20 people or more.
“The demand for travel on the occasion of September 2 will increase, so the railway will open and sell other enhanced trains from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Da Nang, Hanoi and vice versa” – the railway industry said.
10% discount for students and relatives when enrolling
According to the railway industry, students with admission notices can buy 1 ticket for the trip and 1 ticket for accompanying relatives, 10% discount on ticket prices on all trains.
“The condition when buying train tickets is that students provide exam notices, exam cards, admission notices and valid identification documents” – the railway industry announced.

In addition, people can buy tickets via e-wallet application or contact them at train stations, ticketing points and ticket agents of Vietnam Railways.
