

The police of Ho Chi Minh City have just detained Nguyen Thi Kieu Loan (45 years old, from Vinh Long) and urgently arrested Nguyen Minh Hong (50 years old, living in Binh Thanh district) to investigate the act of consuming property obtained by other people.
These are two of the leaders in the consumption line of luxury auto glass and spare parts in Ho Chi Minh City.

At 9:30 am on May 8, Team 6, Criminal Police Department (PC02), Ho Chi Minh City Police arrested Loan and Hong while they were both riding motorbikes in front of an address on Ton That Thuyet Street (Ward 3, District 4).
According to the investigation, Ms. Loan and Mr. Hong lived together as husband and wife. Around before September 2020, both operations consumed auto parts from thieves.

Accordingly, Mr. Hong directly buys goods and Ms. Loan follows to keep spare parts purchased. After purchasing, the two take them home, store them, and then sell them back at the streets such as Tran Binh Trong, An Duong Vuong (District 5), etc.
By mid-August 2020, Hong bought a number of car parts stolen by Pham Minh Phuoc (who was detained by Team 7, PC02 in August, 2020) stolen in Ho Chi Minh City.
Then, Hong brought the above parts to the rented house at 186 Ta Quang Buu Street (Ward 3, District 8) to hide.
On August 28, 2020, Phuoc was arrested by Team 7, PC02 and searched Hong and Loan’s house on Ta Quang Buu Street. Hong and Loan then fled.
According to the investigating agency, the shipment of counterfeit goods discovered related to Loan and Hong included 2,606 rear-view mirrors, 22 logos, 170 rearview mirrors, five wipers of cars of all kinds, which were seized at a house on Ta Quang Buu Street, District 8.
The police also seized 1,110 car rearview mirrors of all kinds at a house in Ben Tre province that two people bought from auto part thieves in Ho Chi Minh City.
