XHOUSE, MONTHLY SUPPORT FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE
Mr. Luong Van Chinh’s family in Duc Binh Tay commune, Song Hinh district is a poor household with extremely difficult circumstances. Mr. Chinh’s leg was injured so he could not walk, and his wife was also often sick. He and his wife also raise a daughter and a sick grandchild, living in a makeshift house.

In 2022, Mr. and Mrs. Phuong and Mrs. Ly mobilized benefactors to build a level 4 house for Mr. Chinh’s family to settle down. Not only that, Mr. Phuong and his wife also support Mr. Chinh’s family with 600,000 VND per month. Besides Mr. Chinh’s family, Mr. Phuong and his wife also provide monthly support to 9 other families with difficult circumstances at the same rate of 600,000 VND/household. Mr. Chinh expressed: “My family is very grateful to Mr. Phuong and Mrs. Ly’s heart of sharing for the poor. It is this kindness that has helped my family overcome difficulties, have shelter from the sun and rain, and be stable. life”.
Phuong and his wife have been involved in volunteer work for more than 10 years. Mr. Phuong said: “During a sick stay at the hospital, my wife and I received a number of gifts and charity meals. After the illness was over, my wife and I thought of doing charity together to help. At first, with only 400,000 VND, I opened a charity porridge kitchen to support the poor in the locality. Seeing that it was practical, my wife and I discussed maintaining this charity porridge kitchen.”
Phuong and his wife also mobilized to build 6 great solidarity houses for households with housing difficulties with a total amount of nearly 300 million dong. Not only taking care of food and accommodation, he and his wife also care about poor, difficult, and lonely households inside and outside Song Hinh when someone in the family dies but lacks money for burial. These cases were supported by Mr. Phuong and his wife with 8 million VND/case, and so far, 50 cases have been helped.
In addition, programs to support bicycles for students in difficult circumstances, give Tet gifts to poor households, donate wheelchairs to the disabled, build clean water wells for residential areas without water, help people with disabilities. Traffic accidents and serious diseases, monthly financial support and necessities, clothes for the poor… are also regularly implemented and maintained by Mr. Phuong and his wife until now.

In particular, during the Covid-19 epidemic season in 2021, Mr. Phuong and his wife participated enthusiastically with the locality in epidemic prevention and support, supporting disadvantaged people during the raging epidemic.
