Program “Together with fishermen to light up the lights on the sea”
Program by newspaper Ho Chi Minh City Law organize, in order to propagate to fishermen, the young generation about patriotism, love of sea and islands, arouse the sense of responsibility of all citizens in protecting the sovereignty of sea and islands of the Fatherland; raise awareness of law compliance when fishing at sea, and at the same time encourage and support fishermen to do business at sea.
The program is hosted by Mr. Mai Ngoc Phuoc, Editor-in-Chief of the Newspaper Ho Chi Minh City Law as Head of the Steering Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Thai Binh as Head of the Organizing Committee, the Ambassador of the program is Miss Earth 2018, Nguyen Phuong Khanh.
The program will be held in 28 coastal provinces and cities across the country for 3 years, from 2023 – 2025. In each locality, the program organizers will give gifts to 200 fishermen. Each gift is worth more than 4 million VND, including 01 recovery battery + led light, lifebuoy, 01 medicine bag + necessary medicines.
The program also awards scholarships, bicycles, books, etc. to the children of fisherman’s families with extremely difficult and lonely circumstances.
Notably, the Program also released the handbook What you need to know about fishing published by the Newspaper Ho Chi Minh City Law Editor, with a lot of necessary legal knowledge for fishermen.
