Beware of losing money when buying and selling “property vacations”
It is known that “owning a tourist holiday” is a tourism model that provides the service of purchasing the right to stay at one or several hotels and resorts for a certain period of time (usually 7 days/1 year). seasonally or continuously for many years, depending on the agreement signed between the parties.
In Vietnam, this model is introduced as a solution to stimulate tourism demand with advantages compared to normal tourism, such as: more economical costs, only a few hundred thousand VND/night stay at a luxury hotel. any in the corporate real estate system, save 70% compared to buying a regular holiday. Even customers have the right to exchange, buy, sell, rent … when there is no need to use, consider this a profitable investment channel.

Faced with the above situation, the Ministry of Public Security recommends that people need to learn carefully about the terms related to the interests of customers, the responsibilities of the business, the value of the contract, the types of related costs, the terms of termination. terminate the contract and handle violations.
Another risk is that most contracts for the sale and purchase of “holiday ownership” are contracts that are not included in the list of essential goods and services that must be registered in the form of a contract. Therefore, it is very difficult to control such business contracts.
In addition, the purchase and sale of “property vacations” often have a long term (possibly lasting for decades), customers have to pay large amounts (from a few hundred million to billions of dong) right from the start. when the ability and efficiency of service use in the future is unknown.
