(PLO)- The regional tax department issued four decisions to four banks to extract money and block the account of Vung Tau Paradise Joint Venture Company.
According to the Tax Department of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, the Tax Department of Vung Tau-Con Dao area has just issued four consecutive decisions on the enforcement of administrative decisions on tax administration by deducting money from accounts and request freezing of accounts of the subject of coercion at the State Treasury, credit institutions for Vung Tau Paradise Joint Venture Company (No. 01 Thuy Van Street, Ward 8, Vung Tau City).
Accordingly, on April 14, the Tax Department of Vung Tau – Con Dao area has announced about the notice of tax debt, fines, and late payment interest of Vung Tau Paradise Joint Venture Company.
Based on the proposal of the Team Leader of the Tax Debt Management and Enforcement Team, on April 20, the Director of the Vung Tau-Con Dao Area Tax Sub-Department issued a decision on enforcement by deducting money from the account and request to block the account of Vung Tau Paradise Joint Venture Company opened at Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Vung Tau Branch to enforce the above notice.
The reason for being coerced is that Vung Tau Paradise has a tax debt owed more than 90 days from the date of expiration of the prescribed payment deadline. The amount of money being coerced was more than 1,053 billion VND.

The decision clearly states that the Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Vung Tau Branch is to deduct money from the account and freeze the account of Vung Tau Paradise Joint Venture Company opened at the bank.
Vung Tau Paradise Joint Venture Company must strictly implement this decision.
The Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Vung Tau Branch is responsible for deducting from the account and requesting an account blockade for the above amount to be deposited into account number 7111.0.1055808 opened at the State Treasury of Vung Tau.
In case the amount in Vung Tau Paradise’s account is smaller than the amount on the enforcement decision, the bank still has to deduct the remaining amount after deducting the minimum balance to maintain the account. Then continue to monitor and deduct the arising amount on the account of this business during the effective time of the decision.
Right on the day of deduction and payment to the state budget, Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Vung Tau Branch is responsible for notifying the tax administration agency (debt management department).
In addition to the above decision, the Tax Department of Vung Tau – Con Dao area also issued three similar decisions requesting three banks, including Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam – Vung Tau Branch; Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development- Vung Tau Branch and Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam- Vung Tau Branch to extract from the account and request to block the account of Vung Tau Paradise open here to guarantee the execution of the tax debt of the amount as mentioned above.

The requirements of the Tax Department of Vung Tau – Con Dao on the blockade, deduction and monitoring of accounts to extract the arising amount to ensure the implementation of the outstanding tax of Vung Tau Paradise for the three banks. The above goods are similar to the requirements for Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Vung Tau Branch.
The four decisions are all effective within 30 days, from April 26 to May 25.

The reason for being coerced is that Vung Tau Paradise Joint Venture Company has a tax owed more than 90 days from the date of expiration of the prescribed payment deadline. The amount of money being coerced was more than 9.5 billion VND. Time to block accounts for 30 days, until April 21.
