“DẮSHOW” BECAUSE… PEOPLE DO NOT USE CLEAN WATER!
In 2015, Yen Quang commune was invested to build a clean water plant with a cost of more than 10 billion VND from the state budget, invested by Ninh Binh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The investment in a clean water plant also allows this commune to soon complete the new rural standard.

It is unknown when the new clean water plant can operate
The factory was built right next to the headquarters of Yen Quang Commune People’s Committee, in the center of the commune, so when it comes into operation, it will be very convenient for the distribution and supply of clean water to about 1,700 households of this commune. However, after completing the construction and installation of the main pipeline system, the plant could not operate because there were too few households registered to use water. Moreover, at the time of construction of this plant, in Yen Ninh village (Yen Quang commune) there was a small clean water plant, supplying water to about 300 households in the village.
Up to now, Yen Quang clean water plant has been idle for 8 years. According to PV .’s observation YouthCurrently, the factory is in a state of “closed and bolted”. Inside the factory weeds are overgrown, many items have rusted due to lack of maintenance and care for a long time. “We saw that they finished construction and dug along the road to install a water pipe, but it hasn’t been in operation for a day. Here, our relatives are used to using well water,” said a resident of Yen Quang commune.

Plants are overgrown in the factory
OLDNO “EXIT”
Talk to PV YouthHoang Xuan Anh, Chairman of Yen Quang Commune People’s Committee, said that it is not known when the new water plant can operate, when people are still not interested in registering to use clean water.
According to Anh, after investing in the construction of a clean water plant, the locality has repeatedly campaigned and called on people to register to use clean water, but the number of registered households is too small, only about 10% of the total number of households. more than 1,700 households in the whole commune, so the number is not enough to operate the factory.
“Yen Quang is a watershed commune, there are several large lakes, so people mainly use well water. Moreover, in the past, Yen Ninh village with about 300 households has been invested in building a clean water plant under the program. poverty alleviation, and this plant is still in operation, providing normal water. Therefore, the demand for clean water has been so low for many years that Yen Quang clean water plant cannot operate. Only 50% of households in the commune have registered to use it before the plant can operate. So far, we have only stopped at mobilizing people to register to use clean water, but no measures have been taken. Other than that, there has been no direction from superiors or management units,” Anh said.
Thus, after 8 years of spending more than 10 billion dong to build, the clean water plant has not been in operation, nor is it known how long this situation will take place, while the factory is increasingly degraded, wasting money on housing. water.
