Mr. Le Dinh Quyet, Deputy Head of Forecasting Department of Hydrometeorological Station of the Southern Region, informed that after May 8, the heat will decrease, and rain will gradually increase in the South. However, in May, there are still hot days with a temperature of 35-36 degrees Celsius.
The Southern Region Hydro-meteorological Station warned that due to the influence of hot sun combined with low humidity in the air, there is a risk of fire, explosion and fire in residential areas due to the increased demand for electricity.
