From his love for poor students and inspired by his friends, in July 2013, he established the Suoi Mo Coffee Charity Club, which he is the head of, to carry out charity programs. step up poor students to school. “For a long time, I have always cherished plans to support poor students. Once, when I went to a friend’s house who is a teacher, I saw that he devoted all of his heart and time to teaching free of charge to poor students, while he himself was not very good. This is the catalyst for me to start my charity journey”, Mr. Tuan said.

Initially, he mobilized his family to deduct the profit from the coffee shop business, 250 dong each cup of water, to collect some money to help the children alleviate some of their difficulties. Gradually, his work became known to many people and volunteered to participate. Up to now, Suoi Mo Coffee Charity Club has dozens of members from all provinces and cities in the country and even overseas Vietnamese. Since then, the way to do and mobilize benefactors is also more methodical.
From July 2013 to now, more than 14,300 students have received scholarships, each from 500,000 VND or more. According to statistics, since its establishment, Suoi Mo Coffee Charity Club has mobilized domestic and foreign benefactors to support many projects with an amount of over 56 billion VND. 12.46 km of clean water pipes, 3 computer rooms for 3 schools, 10.4 km of lighted roads…
Recently, Mr. Tuan started construction of a house for the family of Nguyen Hoang Phu (9 years old, a student at Huynh Van Loi Primary School, Hieu Thuan Commune, H.Vung Liem, Vinh Long). Phu’s situation is very difficult, but she always overcome difficulties and study well. The whole family lives in a ramshackle house, with his father driving a motorbike taxi to make a living. When supported to build a house, the whole Phu family was very happy and excited.

Similarly, Thach Thi Ngoc Thao (8 years old, student at Thanh Hoa Son Primary School, Thanh Hoa Son Commune, Cau Ngang District, Tra Vinh) was also rebuilt by Mr. Tuan’s club. Thao’s family has no land, her parents work as hired laborers in Ho Chi Minh City, sending Thao and her brothers to their grandmother to raise them. The house collapsed because of a storm, fortunately to be supported to build a house, Thao’s family was very happy.
Le Bao Nhi, a student at Hoa Phu A Primary School (Hoa Phu Commune, Long Ho District, Vinh Long), shared: “Thanks to Uncle Tuan for giving me a bicycle, I had less difficulty because I had to walk before. more than 2 km to school. I am very happy and grateful. I will try to study well so as not to disappoint Uncle Tuan and benefactors.”
